Tomorrows Engineers Week
Tomorrow’s Engineers Week – Tomorrow’s Engineers Week (teweek.org.uk) helps us bring together activities to inspire the next generation.
Talking part in the WES Lottie Tour – home whilst doing great STEM work we part took in virtual assemblies, the ICE’s CityZen and even took Lottie to the Constructing Excellence Awards.
Chair shares leadership messages for a more diverse future
Our Chair Paula got to speak at two great events this month spreading multiple positive messages about inclusion and diversity.
As a Women in Construction Ambassador Paula said “I look forward to when our diverse workforce reflects the society we serve. We will then be in a better position to solve tomorrows problems for the betterment of everyone”.
An on site art display was viewed by thousands and available online Paula McMahon – London Build 2022 (londonbuildexpo.com).
At the event Paula closed the DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STAGE – London Build 2022 (londonbuildexpo.com) on a panel discussing the importance of mentoring and leadership.

Capacity Building with Lottie

Our Chair has received a well deserved award recognising her many years of work in the Tees Valley and beyond.
She certainly looks happy being awarded the 2021 Tees Businesswomen Lifelong Inspiration award.

Mentioning the unmentionable; menopause!
At Engineering Together we have never been shy in talking about difficult subjects.
Working in collaboration with the Women’s Engineering Society and ICE North East we gathered some great speakers.
This event draws on personal experiences from women in STEM. We were delighted to have Lauren Chiren from Women of a Certain Stage as an expert host.
